Types of Tickets

 

A variety of tickets are available for riding the Osaka Monorail.

Normal Ticket

Normal Ticket

This is an ordinary train ticket sold by vending machines.

It bears the name of the departure station, fare bracket, date of purchase, etc.

 

"KANSAI THRU PASS" Mono-Card

"KANSAI THRU PASS" Mono-Card

This is a prepaid card from KANSAI THRU PASS.

It is directly inserted into the turnstile to use.

It can be purchased from ticketing machines at any station.

Pass

Pass

There are two types of passes: commuter and student.

They can be purchased from pass windows at Hotarugaike, Senri-chuo, Minami Ibaraki and Kadoma stations.

A connection pass for changing trains to the Hankyu Railway can be purchased from pass windows operated by Hankyu Railway.

Coupon

Coupon

Coupons are sold for a specific fare bracket. There is a “Normal Coupon” that can be used at any time on any day, and a “Staggered Time Coupon” that can be used only between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 on weekdays and all day when trains are running on holiday schedules.

A Normal Coupon offers 11 tickets for the price of 10. A Staggered Time Coupon offers 12 tickets for the price of 10.
